fMSX v3.5.41 - MSX, MSX2, and MSX2 emulator for PSP

Now I can’t really vouch for the awesomeness that may be MSX; I never had one. The MSX was released in ‘83 when I was fresh out the womb, and it was later discontinued in ‘95 when O.J. was acquitted of murder charges. But that’s neither here nor there… It’s 2010 now and this is Akop’s newest version — v3.5.40 — of fMSX PSP. It’s a port from Marat Fayzullin’s original work, which emulates the MSX, MSX2, and MSX2+ 8-bit home computers.

PSP Post It v0.1.2Some cool ‘brew for you, the forgetful few… This plugin — PSP Post It — is perfect for anyone who suffers from “the Memento effect.” But for real; pyroesp’s plugin works like this: you create a text file (PPi.txt) with dates, times, and reminders, when that date & time comes reality, you’ll know bya simple message popup. It works in both VSH and game mode.

Now pyroesp, this has me thinking… It’d be cool(er) if there were iCal support. Export iCal events to .ics or .icbu, plop that on your memory stick, and subsequently never forget anything ever again. Tell me that wouldn’t be handy.

PSNFucker Beta v2 for PSP to return to PSN

Vosman, PSNFucker… It gets your PSP back on PSN — PlayStation Store access and online gaming… Don’t get it twisted though. As noted below, Socom FTB 3, you’re still required to purchase a license key. You can’t play online without one. I guess more games are following suit. But hey! Now you can actually get on PSN to download and play them titles. That’s pretty awesome. Kudos Vosman!

If you continue to be prompted with a message saying an update is required, back out and try disabling any other active plugins. I’ve discovered PSNFucker doesn’t play well with RemoteJoyLite.

PCSP v0.2.0 - windows psp emulator

A different way to emulate the PlayStation Portable: PCSP — It’s a PSP emulator written in C++ for your Windows box. PCSP v0.2.0 packs some serious changes, which is all detailed below. It’s also said a few titles are now playable: Super Fruitfall, KAZooK and the usual Puzzle Bobble.

You’ll notice the first time running pcsp-udb is that it’s very slow, especially if you’re loading a large collection of ISOs. Let pcsp-udb build its index and from thereon in, it’s fast. The hefty-hefty change log and download right after this.

THE EYE OF JUDGMENT LEGENDS

March 2010 sees the launch of THE EYE OF JUDGMENT LEGENDS, exclusively for PSP.

Building on the franchise’s success on PlayStation 3, THE EYE OF JUDGMENT LEGENDS takes the traditional card trading game to the next level, transforming digital cards into on-screen 3D creatures that perform impressive and exciting physical battles.

The key to success is building up knowledge of how to use your digital game cards. Each creature card possesses different abilities, so they can burn, slash or destroy opponents. With this in mind, here is some basic information and terminology that will help you conquer your enemies on your journey through THE EYE OF JUDGMENT LEGENDS.

The aim of the game is to occupy five fields on the board with your creatures. In total, there are nine square-shaped fields that make up the board, or “battlefield”.

Carefully study each card before deciding which one to summon to the battlefield next.
