The PSP2 is finally here. Sony revealed its brand new PlayStation Portable at an event in Tokyo today, our first official look at the PlayStation maker's next foray into handheld gaming, the NGP or "Next Generation Portable." First details below.

Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) is pleased to announce the release of “Monster Hunter Freedom 3″ for the Sony PSP® (PlayStation®Portable), set for Late 2010.

“Monster Hunter Freedom 3″ is a hunting action game that puts the player in the boots of a fearless hunter tracking down and fighting ferocious monsters in a breathtaking natural expanse. The distinctive and groundbreaking cooperative game play style of the “Monster Hunter” franchise, which lets friends work together to bring down huge, fearsome monsters as a team has fostered a new level of communication and interactivity in video games, and has spawned the social phenomenon known as the “Monster Hunter Craze”. As well as recently being awarded the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Prize, an award that commends the people who created it, and receiving a Special Award in the games of the year division at the Japan Game Awards: 2009, Monster Hunter won the highest award and accolades at the CEDEC AWARDS.

Coming to North America on the first week of March, Lunar: Silver Star Harmony will be giving the old Lunar all sorts of upgrades. From a fresh new look, a remastered sountrack, to new battle elements that’ll keep you glued to your PSP. Here’s a trailer to show you how they all go.

According to Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.co.jp's publicly released information, Microsoft's gamble with the Kinect appears to have paid off, as the new motion-sensing peripheral has ranked number one on Amazon.com's customer base in its debut week.

With Fable 3 falling off the charts and Just Dance 2 retaining its number two spot, it appears that Call of Duty: Black Ops will take the number one spot for quite sometime as we approach the holiday season.

Atlus not only announced the official November 9 release of their upcoming action/strategy/bullet-hell/RPG Knights in the Nightmare, but also gave fans something else to get pumped for. In every launch copy of the game, Atlus is including a free downloadable PSN code for Yggdra Union, the 2008 PSP remake of the original Game Boy Advance game.
